your email list and, hence, more income.
I’ve done videos on how to get your first 1,000 subscribers quickly, because that is a part of the new benchmark for when you get monetized on YouTube (get 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch-time hours in a 12 month period). Most people’s heads are in that space.
But if you aren’t hung up on the number 1,000 (maybe you are just under it or over it), and you’d just like to get more subscribers in general, that’s what we are going to talk about today.
Here are 3 ways you can get more subscribers on your YouTube channel quickly:
- Giveaways
- I grew my list very quickly with a giveaway, and I plan on using this over and over again in the future.
- You can use software like gleem.io to host your giveaways.
- Can use this to make a mandatory entry to a giveaway when someone subscribes to your YouTube channel.
- Use it on any platform
- My subscriber list grew by about 1000 in 14 days.
- I gave away camera equipment and software.
- Gleem.io tracked my two mandatory entries:
- Email for my email list
- Subscribe to my YouTube Channel
- Plus the page to go to to get extra entries
- Use it on any platform
- Can use this to make a mandatory entry to a giveaway when someone subscribes to your YouTube channel.
- Free Challenges
- Post a new video every day in the challenge, but in order to get the notifications that a new video is up, the person must subscribe to your YouTube channel.
- Think about different ways to point members of your audience to your channel to participate in your challenge.
- Existing Audience
- Ask for YouTube subscribes from your existing audience on other platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Drive traffic over to your YouTube channel pretty seamlessly
